Create a call
You create calls (also called jobs or dispatches) from the Call Log in the dashboard. There are four kinds: a new call, a completed call, a scheduled call, and a quote.
Which kind to use
New call: a job that needs a driver now.
Completed call: log a job that is already done, so it is on record and can be invoiced.
Scheduled call: a job booked for later.
Quote: a price given before any work. It is saved as a call of type Quote.
Steps
In the dashboard, open Call Log.
Choose the option to create a call, then pick the kind of call.
Enter the call details, the account type (for example police, private or highway), and the vehicle information.
Assign a driver now, or later. See "Assign and reassign drivers".
Save.
What you will see
The call appears in the Call Log. If you assigned a driver, they get a text message and/or push notification.
Other ways calls are created
Drivers can create calls from the driver app.
You can import many calls at once. See "Import calls in bulk".
Offers you accept from a connected network such as Urgently.
Good to know
Your plan sets a limit on calls. Relay Tow warns you near the limit and blocks new calls over it.
